Sending Proposals to Leads: A Step-by-Step Guide


Sending your proposal to a lead is a big step toward sealing the deal—and we’ve made it smooth, simple, and trackable. With just a few clicks, your lead gets the proposal, and you get to watch the progress unfold in real time.

How to Start

  • From the side navigation menu, go to CRM → Lead Manager.
  • Choose the specific lead you want to send the proposal to.
  • On the lead’s page: If proposals have already been sent → You’ll see analytics for them.

Not sure which proposal to send? No worries—we’ve got a default proposal ready for you.


How to Send the Proposal

  1. In the proposal section, click Send Proposal.
  2. If no proposals exist, you’ll see the “No Data” message. Otherwise, you’ll see analytics for previously sent ones.
  3. Choose whether to send a custom proposal or a default template.
  4. Select the proposal you want to send.
    Only created (and visible) proposals will appear here.
    Can’t find yours? Go to 
    Template Center → Proposal → Show to make it visible.
    Still missing? Head to Template Center → Questionnaire → View Trash, select the proposal, and hit Restore.
  5. Once ready, click Confirm.


Editing the Chosen Template:

  1. You’ll be taken to the editor page where you can make adjustments.
  2. Once you’re done, click Next.
  3. You’ll then choose one of three options.
    • Update Existing Template – Save changes to the original.
    • Save as New Template – Create a new version with a fresh name.
    • Skip & Proceed – No edits? Jump straight to preview.
  4. On the preview page, you’ll also see the option to download the proposal as a PDF.


Sending Options

Next, you’ll find a dropdown with three delivery methods:

  • Email
  • SMS
  • WhatsApp

Pick your preferred option, then click Send. Done!

Managing Expiry & Suggestions

  • Manual Expiry – Set a custom expiration date for a specific proposal.

  • Auto Expiry – Apply the same expiration rule to all proposals automatically.

  • Allow Suggestions – Turn your proposal into a two-way street by letting leads share feedback directly inside the proposal.

How Leads Provide Suggestions

Here’s how it works for your leads:

  • When they open the proposal, they’ll spot a chat icon in the top-right corner.
  • Clicking it lets them type in suggestions or feedback.
  • You’ll get an email notification with their comments.
  • Clicking the link in the email takes you straight to their suggestions.
  • You can reply right there in the proposal, and they’ll be notified instantly

Final Send via Email

Compose Email: When you click Compose Email, you’ll be directed to send the proposal directly to your lead.

Add your message, click Send, and the proposal is successfully delivered.
