Sending Proposals to Leads: A Step-by-Step Guide

 

Sending your proposal to your lead is an important process, and we've simplified it for you. You can send your proposal immediately through our platform and track its status after it has been sent.

Procedure

  • In the side navigation menu go to the Lead Manager.

  • Choose the specific lead to whom you want to send the proposal.

  • Once selected, you'll be directed to the lead's page, where you'll find the proposal .

If you haven't created any proposals yet, you'll see a message indicating "No Data." Otherwise, you'll see analytics for previously sent proposals.

Before sending the proposal, if you're unsure which proposal to send or haven't created any proposal yet, don't worry! We have a default proposal available for you to send.

How do I send the proposal to my leads?

  1. In the proposal section, Click on "Send Proposal" to proceed

  2. If you haven't created any proposals yet, you'll see a message indicating "No Data." Otherwise, you'll see analytics for previously sent proposals.

  3. Then choose whether you want to send a custom or default template.

  4. Based on your selection, pick the specific proposal  you wish to send to your lead

  5. Only the proposal that you have created and not hidden will be visible in the proposal. If you cannot find a proposal you created, it may be hidden.

  6. To reveal it, visit the Template Center, select proposal, and enable the "Show" option.

  7. If you still cannot locate the proposal on the proposal page, don't worry.

    1. We have the "View Trash" option for you. Head to the Template Center, choose Questionnaire, and locate the "View Trash" option beside "Create New".

    2. Click on it, choose the desired proposal, select the "Restore" option, and it will be reinstated in the custom template.

  8. If you finalized, then click confirm.

Editing the Chosen Template:

  • You'll be taken to a page where you can edit the chosen template.

  • Once you're satisfied with the edits, click on "Next."

  • You'll be prompted to choose one of three options:

    • "Update Existing Template": Apply changes made here to the original template in the Template Center.

    • "Save as New Template": Save the edited template as a new custom template. Provide a name for the new template.

    • "Skip & Proceed": Bypass editing and proceed directly to preview.

  • Upon making your selection, you'll be taken to the preview page.

  • You'll see an option to download the template as a PDF. Click on the download button to save the template to your device. 

  • Next, there will be a dropdown menu with three options for sending the proposal
    • Email
    • SMS
    • WhatsApp
  • From the dropdown, select one of the options (Email, SMS, or WhatsApp) based on how you want to send  the template. 
  • Once you've selected your preferred method, click the button to send the template. 
  • Manage preference settings,

    •  Manual expiry:  where you select the expiration date for the proposal

      • please note that "Manual Expiry" is only applicable if you choose to customize the expiration for leads.

      • Alternatively, if you prefer to set an "Auto Expiry", where a default expiration date is applied to all leads, once you set it, it will apply to all leads.

  • Enable "Allow Suggestions" to allow leads to provide feedback directly within the proposal

How can a lead provide suggestions in a proposal?

  1. Once the lead receives the proposal via email from you and views it. 

  2. They can find a chat icon in the top right corner.

  3.  By clicking on this icon, they can provide suggestions. 

  4. You will receive a notification via email when they submit their suggestions.

  5.  Clicking on the email and then on the proposal link will take you directly to the suggestions they provided.

  6. You have the option to respond to the suggestion within the chat. Once you've provided your response, they will be notified accordingly.

Compose Email:

When you click "Compose Email," you'll be directed to send the proposal to the lead. 

Upon clicking "Send," the proposal will be successfully delivered to your lead.
