Adding a Plan in 2D Takeoff – IntoAEC Application
To add a new plan in the 2D Takeoff module, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Add Plan" button to initiate the process.
An Add Plan popup will appear on the screen.
Enter the Plan Name in the provided field.
Upload the required 2D plans by selecting files from your system.
- If you need to replace the uploaded plan, you can delete it
Click on the "Delete" option to remove the document.Re-upload a new 2D plan by following the same steps.
- After adding the plan, click on the "Start Takeoff" button. .
Set the Scale
Define the scale to ensure accurate measurements.
Adjust the scale manually or use a reference measurement from the plan.
Measure and Draw Shapes
Use the available tools to start measuring and marking the plan:
Draw Lines for length measurements.
Create Squares for simple area calculations.
Use Polygons for complex measurement areas.
Modify and Adjust Shapes
Select & Move elements to reposition them as needed.
Delete Shapes if they are incorrect or no longer required.
Manage Sections
Add Multiple Sections to categorize different areas of the takeoff.
Rename Sections for better organization.
Delete Sections if they are unnecessary.
Zoom In and Out for Better Visibility
Use the zoom in feature to get a detailed view of the plan.
Use the zoom out feature to see a larger portion of the plan.
After completing the estimate, the created plan will be displayed in the 2D Plans section.
In this section, you can edit, delete, and preview the plan as needed.
The "Uploaded By" information will be visible, showing who uploaded the plan.
The number of uploaded PDFs will also be displayed for reference.
With these features, 2D Takeoff ensures a seamless and efficient process for managing project plans. The ability to edit, delete, and preview plans provides flexibility, while the preview and estimate functions help in making accurate calculations. By organizing all uploaded plans in the 2D Plans section, users can easily track and manage their work, ensuring better project accuracy and efficiency.
