Mastering the Discovery Phase: Sending Questionnaires to Leads

 In the Discovery Phase, you will engage with your leads by sending them questions. This important phase allows you to gain valuable ideas and preferences straight from your leads, creating the foundation for your project. Here's how to go through this phase smoothly.



Where Can I Find Discovery Phase?

  •  In the side navigation menu >Lead Manager 

  • Choose the specific lead to whom you want to send the questionnaire.

  • Once selected, you'll be directed to the lead's page, where you'll find the Discovery Phase .

 

Before sending the questionnaire, if you're unsure which questionnaire to send or haven't created any questionnaire yet, don't worry! We have default questions available for you to send.

How do I send the questionnaire to my leads?

In the Discovery Phase, 

  1. Click "Send Questionnaire". 

  2.  Then choose whether you want to send a custom or default template.

  3.  Based on your selection, pick the specific questionnaire you wish to send to your lead

    1. Only questionnaires that you have created and not hidden will be visible. If you cannot find a questionnaire you created, it may be hidden.

      1.  To reveal it, visit the Template Center >  Questionnaire, and enable the "Show" option for that questionnaire.

    2. If you still cannot locate the questionnaire on the Questionnaire page, don't worry. 

      1. We have the "View Trash" option for you. Head to the Template Center, choose Questionnaire, and locate the "View Trash" option beside "Create New".

      2.  Click on it, choose the desired questionnaire, select the "Restore" option, and it will be reinstated in the custom template.

      3. If you're still unable to Find  the questionnaire, consider these two scenarios:

        1. Permanently remove the questionnaire by deleting it from the "View Trash" section.

        2. If you forget to save the questionnaire during creation

  4. If you want to preview the questionnaire click preview

  5. if you finalized, then click confirm.

After confirming, the next step is to select your preference between "Send Questionnaire" or "Answer by Own". 

On this page , you will see the selected questionnaire, and if needed, you can change it.

Here, you'll learn how to send the questionnaire. 

Send Questionnaire:

  1. If you choose "Send Questionnaire", you'll be directed to compose an email where you can send the questionnaire to the lead.

  2. If you wish to set an expiration date for the questionnaire, click on "Manual Expiry"  After selecting "Manual Expiry", choose the number of days you want to set for the expiration.

  3. Alternatively, if you prefer to set an "Auto Expiry", where a default expiration day is applied to all leads, once you set it, it will apply to all leads. If you want to learn more about how to set "Auto Expiry."

With this method, you can seamlessly send the questionnaire to your lead.

To view responses from leads and check if any questionnaires have expired.
