Ledger – Your Financial Snapshot

Think of the Ledger as your client’s financial diary — a single place where every transaction, every credit, every debit, and every balance update comes together in real time.

Where to Find the Ledger?

  1. Navigate to Clients from the sidebar.

  2. Select the specific client you want to review.

  3. Head into Money Matters — your financial command center.

  4. Here, the Ledger is right in front of you, by default displaying:

    • Invoices you’ve created

    • Receipts received

    • Credit Notes issued

It’s like opening a client-specific financial journal that’s always up to date.

Ledger Grid – What You’ll See

The Ledger grid is smartly structured with key columns that keep everything crystal clear:

  • Desired Date → When the transaction actually occurred.

  • S. No. → A unique identifier for each record (Invoice, Credit Note, Receipt).

  • Drill Down → Click on any Invoice, Credit Note, or Receipt entry to open full details — and yes, you can download the document instantly.

  • Debit → Amount deducted.

  • Credit → Amount added.

  • Balance → Always shows the running balance, keeping you and your client on the same page.

Payment Statement

Need a bigger picture?

  • Just click on Payment Statement.

  • Instantly, you’ll see a comprehensive summary of the client’s financial history.

  • From here, you can also download the full statement for sharing or record-keeping.

It’s like having a bank statement — but smarter, focused only on your client’s project and transactions.

The Ledger isn’t just numbers — it’s the heartbeat of your financial interactions, keeping everything transparent, organized, and ready to download anytime.
