Mastering Timesheet Actions – Edit, Delete & Convert with Ease

Think of every timesheet in IntoAEC as a dynamic record — not something set in stone. With just one click on the three-dot magic menu (⋮), you unlock the power to reshape, clean, or transform your timesheet.

Edit – Breathe New Life into a Timesheet

Found a typo? Logged the wrong hours? No problem.

  • Tap Edit from the action menu.

  • An Update Timesheet half-canvas glides in.

  • Change whatever you need — user, date, duration, cost rate, even notes.

  • Smash the Update button. Like magic, the table refreshes with your corrected data.

Delete – Clear What Doesn’t Belong

Sometimes mistakes need a clean slate.

  • Hit Delete on the action menu.

  • A confirmation popup asks:
“Are you sure you want to delete this timesheet?”

  • Click Yes to erase it.
Gone instantly — leaving your records clutter-free.

Convert – Turn Time into Money

The most powerful move: converting time to billable expense.

  • Select Convert to Expense from the action menu.

  • A Convert to Expense popup opens.

  • Pick a Payment Type (Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer).

  • Hit Yes to finalize.

  • Once converted, the entry is automatically added to the Bills & Expenses module — linking time tracking directly with financials for effortless billing and reporting. Boom — your tracked hours are now real expenses, ready for billing and reporting.

Why It Matters

  • Edit = Accuracy

  • Delete = Clean Records

  • Convert = Smart Billing

With these three actions, your timesheet isn’t just a log — it’s a flexible financial engine that adapts to your workflow.
