Task Reports Overview
The Task Reports section allows users to track tasks, their progress, and time management within a project. It provides insights into task statuses, durations, and deviations.
Navigating to Task Reports
Go to Reports in the main menu.
Select Task to view the task report.
Filters
In the Task Reports section, the following filters are available:
Project Name – Filter tasks by a specific project.
Start Between – Choose a date range to filter tasks based on their start date.
Select Assignee – Filter tasks by the person assigned to the task.
After selecting your filters, click Apply to apply them. If you wish to reset the filters, click Clear.
Dashboard Overview
The dashboard will display the following information:
Task Count – The total number of tasks based on the selected filters.
Total Duration – The cumulative time spent on all tasks.
Total Deviation – The difference between the estimated and actual completion time for tasks.
Task Table
In the table, you’ll see detailed information about each task, including:
Project Name – The project associated with the task.
Task Name – The name of the task.
Assignee – The person assigned to complete the task.
Status – The current status of the task (To Do, In Progress, Completed).
Start Date – The date the task started.
Estimated Completion Date – The date the task was estimated to be completed.
Actual Completion Date – The actual completion date of the task.
Total Duration – The time spent on the task.
Deviation – The difference between the estimated and actual completion times.
Created On – The date the task was created.
Bulk Actions and Exporting Data
Bulk Select – Select multiple tasks to perform actions on them.
Export to Excel – Export the task details to an Excel file for further analysis and reporting.
How to Configure Task Report Automation in IntoAEC
Automate your task reporting and stay on top of team progress without manual effort.
Follow these simple steps to set up Task Report Automation using the Configure Report Automation icon:
Launch the Configure Report Automation Popup
Click the Configure Report Automation icon to open the Task Report Automation popup.
Select Report Recipients
Use the Send To dropdown to select the users who should receive the automated task reports.
Set the Reporting Frequency
In the Generate Report dropdown, choose how often you want the task reports to be sent:
Daily (default)-The report will be generated within an hour of your selected time.
Example: If set for 6:00 PM, the report will be created between 6:00 PM and 6:59 PM.Weekly – A report summarizing the current week will be delivered at the same time and day the following week.
Monthly – A monthly summary will be sent on the same day and time next month.
Define Start Date and Time
Select a Start Date and Start Time to determine when the automation should begin.
Note-Make sure a Start Time is selected it’s necessary for the reports to be triggered.
Save or Cancel
Click Save to enable task report automation, or Cancel to exit without applying the changes.
These features provide a comprehensive overview of task management, making it easier to track progress, assess performance, and manage resources effectively across various projects. The ability to filter, view, and export task data streamlines reporting and decision-making.
